After the unexpected and sad death of Adam, Rick Harrison’s son, the star of the Pawn Shop finally speaks up by sharing a touching tribute on Instagram.

Adam, aged 39, passed away from a drug overdose in Las Vegas last Friday, causing his family to feel completely devastated and surprised.

Rick expressed his love for Adam by saying, “You will forever hold a special place in my heart! I adore you, Adam. 💔” These heartfelt words were accompanied by a picture of Rick and Adam happily smiling together at a bar.

Laura Herlovich, a family representative, has previously confirmed Adam’s passing to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Our family is deeply saddened by Adam’s passing. We kindly request privacy as we mourn his loss.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Rick revealed the exact cause of Adam’s death saying that fentanyl was to blame.

The reality TV personality confirmed that Adam passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. They emphasized the need to address the fentanyl crisis more effectively, stating that it is crossing borders unchecked and urgent action is required to improve the situation.

Many fans and a few of Rick’s famous friends promptly expressed their condolences by sharing heartfelt messages.

Donald Trump Jr. expressed his apologies, saying, “I apologize, my friend.”

Corey Harrison, Adam’s brother, honored his late sibling on Instagram by posting a throwback baby picture of them in a bath.

He captioned the picture with, “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba.”

Adam was the second child of Rick Harrison and his first wife, Kim Harrison. After that, Rick married his second wife and they have a son named Jake.

Rick and Corey were actively managing the Gold & Silver Pawn shop and making appearances on the show. However, Adam’s level of involvement was not as high, although there have been reports that he did work with his father.

The number of overdose deaths, including synthetic opioids, increased by 56.6% from January 2020 to 2021, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Fentanyl is classified by the Drug Enforcement Agency as a Schedule II controlled substance. It is described as being similar to morphine but much stronger, about 100 times more potent. Even a tiny amount of two milligrams, which is less than a grain of salt, can be deadly depending on an individual’s body.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Harrison family.

Rest in peace, Adam.
